Properties: light yellow crystalline powder, with slight odor, mp 183-186, bp 371, sublimes at 130 at 1mmHg. Soluble in ether, acetone and benzene, slightly soluble in water and ethanol. Readily oxidized by the air on prolonged exposure, acquiring a greenish-brown tint. Irritating to skin.

Use: as intermediate in the manufacture of drugs and dyes; insecticide, anthelmintic; inhibitor/stabilizer for acrylate resin and poly(vinyl acetate) aganist premature polymerization.
